CHURRASCARIA

In the vast plains of the southernmost region of Brazil, cowboys called Gauchos, would prepare a feast for their family and friends, by slow roasting various cuts of meat from their herds, over an open flame pit called a Churrasco. Once prepared, the Gauchos would carve the meats at the table in a show of skill and the gift of giving.
